Frecator treatment can be useful for certain small, benign-looking skin growths such as skin tags and milia. However, not every skin growth is suitable for cosmetic removal.

At Eurolab Aesthetic, we believe proper assessment should always come first. If a growth looks unusual, is changing, or its diagnosis is unclear, it is safer to consult a doctor or dermatologist before removing it.

What Can Frecator Help With?

Frecator may be suitable for selected superficial skin concerns such as:

  • Small skin tags

  • Milia seeds

  • Certain small, benign-looking raised growths

Suitability depends on the type, size, depth and appearance of the growth. If anything looks abnormal, further medical assessment may be recommended.

What Skin Growths Should NOT Be Removed with Frecator?

1. Suspicious or Changing Moles

A mole should be medically assessed if it changes in:

  • Size

  • Shape

  • Colour

  • Border

  • Overall appearance

Dermatologists often use the ABCDE guide when checking suspicious moles: asymmetry, irregular borders, multiple colours, diameter and evolving changes.

If a mole looks different from your other spots or is changing over time, consult a doctor before considering removal.

2. Large, Deep or Hard Growths

Frecator is generally more suitable for superficial concerns.

Growths that are:

  • Large

  • Deep beneath the skin

  • Thick

  • Hard or firm

  • Broadly attached to the skin

may require medical assessment or another removal method instead.

3. Irregular-Shaped or Unusual-Coloured Growths

A skin growth with uneven borders, unusual colours, sudden darkening or an abnormal appearance should not be treated as a routine cosmetic concern.

When the appearance is unclear, it is safer to get a professional medical opinion first.

4. Growths That Bleed, Hurt, Itch or Do Not Heal

See a doctor if a growth:

  • Bleeds without obvious reason

  • Becomes painful or tender

  • Itches persistently

  • Repeatedly forms a scab

  • Does not heal

  • Keeps returning

These signs do not necessarily mean the growth is serious, but they should be assessed before cosmetic removal.

5. Growths That Are Growing Quickly

If a bump or growth becomes noticeably larger over a short period, it is best not to remove it immediately.

A doctor or dermatologist can help determine what the growth is and whether treatment is appropriate.

When Should You Consult a Doctor First?

A useful rule is:

If the growth is changing, unusual, symptomatic or difficult to identify, get it medically checked first.

At Eurolab Aesthetic, we take a cautious approach. If a skin growth appears unsuitable for Frecator treatment, we may recommend that you consult a doctor rather than proceed with removal.
